Specialist Support
Therapeutic support
Therapeutic support is a holistic approach to care that helps individuals, especially children and families, heal from trauma, manage emotions, develop coping skills, and improve overall well-being by addressing underlying needs, often through counselling, life skills training, and specialized therapies tailored to their unique experiences and history. It focuses on understanding the "why" behind challenging behaviours, creating a safe space for emotional expression,
and building resilience, involving professionals like therapists, social workers, and educator
Play skills mentoring
Play skills support involves guiding children to develop crucial abilities like communication, problem-solving, motor skills (fine & gross), emotional regulation, and social interaction through structured and free play activities, helping them build confidence, independence, and skills for learning and life
School readiness support
We work with families to equip children with the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills, plus the confidence and curiosity, to thrive in school and life, focusing not just on academics but on a child's whole development and a supportive environment for transition. It means children are ready for the school's demands, and the school/family is ready for the child, ensuring a smooth start through shared responsibility, play, independence, and addressing individual needs.
